When it comes to site selection, having instant access to environmental data at a landscape level can take your due diligence from days of searching for data or weeks of waiting on consultants... to just a few seconds.
Introducing: Transect Vision
Vision is user-friendly and immersive. Select the layers relevant to you, arrange them as you like, and even adjust the opacity of any layer to see the full context of your current or prospective project site.
A variety of maps typically requiring commercial licenses or proprietary software are available to you with your Transect subscription. Slope, aspect, contour, and several other map layers allow you to gain a broader view of how your project may (or may not) be ideally located.
Using the polygon or line tool in Vision, delineate ideal project locations, boundaries or areas of interest. Export them to KML/KMZ format to create a Transect Report or in an external application. There is no limit to either your use of Vision or number of exports.
Transect Vision is included with all Transect subscriptions at no additional charge.
